PlayFootball.lol sells advertising placements on a simulated football match. These terms explain exactly what you get, what you do not get, and what happens to your money.

1. What you are buying

You are buying a display licence and game cosmetics, not a financial instrument. No refunds when outbid or benched. No guarantee of display duration, traffic, or clicks.

There are two products. A shirt puts your logo on one of the two teams, where it appears as that team's eleven player marks. A banner puts your logo on one of eight perimeter advertising boards around the pitch. Both link to a destination URL you supply.

You are not buying a share, a token, an investment, or any right that appreciates in value. Nothing you buy here can be resold to us, redeemed, or transferred.

2. Your placement can be taken from you

This is the entire mechanic of the site, not a risk hidden in the terms. Anyone may take your placement at any moment by paying more than your decayed stake. When that happens your brand moves to the bench, immediately and without notice, and you are not refunded. You may re-enter at any time, at a discount.

3. Prices fall over time

Every stake decays 8% per day from the moment it is paid. The practical effect is that the price for somebody to replace you gets cheaper every day you hold your placement. This is disclosed again at checkout before you pay. It is deliberate: it guarantees the pitch is always contestable.

4. Odds, and the limit on them

Higher stake = higher goal probability, capped. Money buys odds, not certainty. A team's share of goals is bounded regardless of how much is staked, so an underdog always scores. The cap is measured, not merely asserted: no team exceeds roughly 72% of goals in the long run, and the advantage stops increasing entirely beyond a 3:1 stake ratio.

5. What you may not upload

You are responsible for having the right to use the logo and brand name you supply. Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, deceptive, or infringing, and do not impersonate another business.

Content is published immediately and reviewed afterwards. We may remove any placement at any time, at our sole discretion, if it breaches this section. Where we remove a placement for a breach, we do not owe a refund; where we remove it for our own reasons, we refund the unused portion of your stake.

6. No affiliation with real football

No real football clubs, leagues, players, competitions or governing-body trademarks appear anywhere on this site, including in any preset. Team names are invented. Nothing here is licensed by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any football organisation.

7. Availability

The site is provided as-is. We do not promise uptime, a particular number of visitors, a particular number of clicks, or that the match will run forever. If the site shuts down permanently, we will refund the unused portion of live placements on a pro-rata basis against the decay schedule in section 3.

8. Payment, tax and currency

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars.

Displayed prices are the amount charged. Where tax applies to a purchase it is included in that amount unless stated otherwise at checkout.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding thirty days. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business opportunity.

10. Contact

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.
